Proconics Attends the Cyril Ramaphosa Fundraising Dinner

Last Saturday at the Sandton International Convention Centre, members of the Proconics leadership team attended the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation's Adopt-a-School fundraising event. The occasion gave our leadership a fantastic opportunity to support a worthwhile cause and place Proconics in the market strategically.

Group CEO Melvin Jones, Managing Director Reginald Mbatha, Group Chief HR Officer Dorah Tlala, and Group Executive for Renewable Energy Louis Hall led the internal delegation. They were joined by the CEO of FutureNow Gert van der Merwe.

With a passion for helping young people through excellent mentoring programs, FutureNow is a non-profit organisation and resource network for communities, schools, and youth care professionals. Through their collaboration, FutureNow and Proconics have implemented mentorship initiatives in Secunda and Sasolburg schools.

By participating in the fundraising dinner, our leadership not only demonstrated Proconics' dedication to corporate social responsibility but also engaged with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the industry.

The fundraiser served as an opportunity to network with influential figures and organisations that share a common commitment to making a positive impact on education. Our presence at the event underscores our belief in the power of education to transform lives and build a sustainable future for our communities.

Proconics' participation in the event is essential to establishing the company as a responsible and progressive one, in addition to our social responsibility initiatives. It enables us to match our brand with significant initiatives like those supported by the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation and demonstrate our dedication to giving back to the community at large.

“As we continue to grow and evolve as a company, our active participation in events of this nature reinforces Proconics' reputation not only as a leader in our industry but also as a socially conscious organisation. We believe that our involvement in initiatives that support education aligns seamlessly with our values and contributes to the overall betterment of society,” shared Melvin Jones.

We're excited to keep working to support important projects that share our values and have a long-lasting effect on the communities we serve.
